What is ZoomCache

An overview of what ZoomCache is and what it can do for you.

ZoomCache is a “front-end proxy” to your website. Put simply, between your website and your website visitors ZoomCache speeds up your websites loading speed, allowing for more concurrent users and a faster experience for your customers.

ZoomCache has three goals.

  1. Speed up your website
  2. Optimise the code and images as best it can
  3. Act as a security barrier to help protect your website from users that would try to harm your website.

Let’s take a look in greater depth.

Speeding up your website.

ZoomCache uses multiple tools to make your website load fast.

ZoomCache:

  • Caches static content closer to your visitors
  • Optimises your websites code
  • Uses a global network with machine learning technology to deliver fast website speeds no matter where in the world your users are located.

Optimising your websites code

ZoomCache uses Google Page Speed recommendations to optimise your websites HTML, Javascript files, CSS Files and Images into formats and structures that deliver better performance for your website visitors.

It is able to efficiently reorganise your websites code on the fly. There is no loss in performance. You are able to tune your settings as high or low as you like using the ZoomCache manager.

Securing Your Website

Because ZoomCache is placed between your website and your visitors, your website remains hidden to the internet. ZoomCache uses various heuristics to determine if a user is legitimate traffic or a malicious user attempting to hack your website.

Security is not ZoomCache’s primary goal. However having an extra layer of protection can help secure your website.
