Update:

We have commenced migrations of accounts hosted on cloud3 cPanel server over to a new server. This migration is required due to cloud3 reaching end-of-life where software updates will no long be applied to this machine. To get the best solutions to our customers we are migrating accounts over to our new cloud cPanel cluster.

For most clients this is a transparent migration that will have no affect on the website. However some clients may be required to update DNS IP addresses or Name Servers with the domain registrar that manages their domains. We will contact each client that requires DNS updates beforehand.

For clients who have domain names registered with other registrars, we would like to offer you a free transfer of your domain into your Momentum Hosting account. This is benificial to keep all your hosting resources in one place, and allows us to make changes to our hosting configuration without requiring clients make any changes on our behalf. If you're interested in transferring your domain over to us please let us know.

We are currently working on prepairing for cloud3 to reach it's end of life and are setting up new environments for migrating clients on cloud3 to a much newer and flexible platform. 

Starting in 2025 we will begin migrating clients cloud3 to a new cPanel network we are in the process of provisioning.

For most clients there will be no change and you won't even notice the migration has happened. We will however keep everyone up to date on a client-by-client basis what's happening and when. 

Some clients with externally managed DNS will need to make a DNS entry update in the DNS system to finalise the changes, however we will guide you through that change before it needs to occur.

We are not modifying our pricing at all so there is no change to existing packages, or prices.

Migrations can be stressful, and for us as well, however we do our absolute best to make sure that there is a little, to no, downtime as possible and are transparent and communicate to everyone before anything occurs.
